Dtech are currently working with a well-established racking supplier who require a new Fitter/Installations Manager to visit customer sites both regionally and nationally. With a competitive basic and company vehicle, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced raking fitter/installer seeking a new role with great scope.
Responsibilities
- Carry out racking fitting & installations work on company sites for major projects
- Visiting customers both regionally and nationally and being the main point of contact
- Manage labour and installation teams on site
- Fit racking and the companies main office
- Taking control of site Health & Safety
Requirements
Our client requires an individual who has previous experience as a racking installer/fitter. You will also have strong communication skills with the ability to work well with customers with the ability to and presence to manage installations teams. The role would suit an individual who is keen to grow into an Installations Management role and the company are willing to put the right individual through the relevant qualifications. Given they’re located in Yorkshire, they also require someone with easy access to this region. The ideal candidate will also be willing to travel to customer sites on a national basis but with a main focus on Yorkshire and the surrounding area.

Our client are a national provider of various types of racking and storage systems in addition to office interior and refurbishment services. Having been established for a number of years they have a strong setup and footing in the racking market across Northern England. Their range of racking products include pallet, narrow aisle, push back and wide aisle in addition to shelving. Due to continued growth, they’re looking to take a number of new employees on.
